1: A Private Night Club that does not advertise to the general public, and operates by it's own rules.

  * e.g.,  ... I know about a SPEAK in S.W. that stays open after all other Night Clubs in D.C. close. 

 [ "speaking" ]

1: Speaking When two people aren't necessarily dating but speaking ( flirting / sexting ) over text.

  * e.g.,  ... "Are you and Amy going out?" 

 [ "Speak" ]

1: you say "speak!" (it's usually said with enthusiasm)when someone says something relevant and true about something and you agree with them.It's like saying "speak the truth" but instead you just say speak..they'll understand

1: A phrase that entails the other speaker in the conversation to elaborate on their point. It is usually used to propel the energy of the conversation. Similar to the phrases "dayuum", "sheeeet" and "preach brotha"

  * e.g.,  ... "You're so fucking dumb that you think "Mytosis" is another way to refer to your own toes. 

 [ "speak on it" ]

1: Snoop dogs word that means "to agree with" like "word" does

  * e.g.,  ... man 1 "im a pimp" 

 [ "Speaks" ]

1: Abreviation or slang for speakers, Or anything that sound electronically comes out of for that matter.

  * e.g.,  ... "Man you can FEEL the music when I bump it on my new 'SPEAKS'. 

 [ "speak to" ]

1: Hippy-dippy NPR way of saying "talk about something."

  * e.g.,  ... "Well, I'm not sure I can speak to that sort of thing, but I will try to speak to the larger issues that the macrame community is facing right now."

1: A five-piece rock band from Washington, D.C. Have gained acclaim across several continents. The members are Raf Toledo (vocals), Jerry Delino (bass), Archie Dela Cruz and Cal Stamp (guitars), and Derek Lee (drums).
